GERMAN TECHNOLOGY PARK MELAKA TAWAR 10,000 PELUANG PEKERJAAN
KUALA LUMPUR 22 Mac – Pembangunan German Technology Park (GTP) di Melaka bakal membuka 10,000 peluang pekerjaan kepada rakyat tempatan.
Ketua Menteri Melaka Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf Yusoh berkata, Kerajaan Negeri yakin model pembangunan GTP ini akan meletakkan Melaka sebagai destinasi pelaburan yang cukup menarik kepada syarikat berteknologi tinggi di Jerman.
Katanya, penubuhan GTP itu juga bakal melonjakkan lagi pembangunan ekonomi berimpak tinggi di Melaka menerusi pembangunan industri, pemindahan teknologi serta mengembangkan tenaga kerja mahir dalam kalangan rakyat tempatan.
“Saya berkeyakinan tinggi, GTP ini akan membantu melonjakkan sektor industri berimpak tinggi di Negeri Melaka, selain membantu meningkatkan lagi kualiti pekerja mahir Melaka melalui pemindahan teknologi.
“Untuk itu, kerajaan akan memanfaatkan sepenuhnya Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UteM) sebagai institusi yang berteraskan pendidikan teknologi serta melahirkan pekerja mahir tempatan,” katanya.
Beliau berkata demikian ketika berucap sempena Majlis Menandatangani Memorandum Persefahaman (MoU) di antara MCORP dan MIDA serta lapan pemilik tanah bagi pembangunan GTP di sebuah hotel, di Kuala Lumpur, hari ini.
Hadir sama, Duta Besar Jerman Ke Malaysia, Dr. Peter Blomeyer; Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri, Datuk Wira Zaidi Johari; Timbalan Menteri Pertahanan, Adly Zahari; Timbalan Exco Pelaburan, Perindustrian dan Pembangunan TVET negeri, Datuk Khaidhirah Abu Zahar; barisan Exco dan Timbalan Exco Kerajaan Negeri, ketua-ketua jabatan serta kenamaan lain.
Lapan syarikat yang terbabit MoU berkenaan ialah MCORP yang diwakili Ketua Pegawai Eksekutifnya, Datuk Mohd Yusof Abu Bakar; Jakel Holdings Sdn Bhd diwakili Datuk Seri Mohamed Faroz Mohamed Jakel; Riverwell Resources Sdn Bhd diwakili Richard Teo Lay Ban; Yayasan Melaka diwakili Datuk Kamarul Zaman Jantan; Lembaga Pembangunan Pelaburan Malaysia (MIDA) diwakili Datuk Wira Arham Abdul Rahman; Harmony Alliance Sdn Bhd diwakili Datuk Zainal Abidin Sakom; Infra Park Development Sdn Bhd diwakili Nur Fairuz Ruslan; dan LCN Development Sdn Bhd diwakili oleh Norlaila Lee Abdullah.
Pembangunan infrastruktur German Technology Park terletak di sebuah kawasan seluas 138.07 hektar (341.18 ekar) yang bakal dimajukan di Bandar Hijau, Hang Tuah Jaya, Ayer Keroh.
Kawasan perindustrian baharu itu bakal menerapkan unsur Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG), Sustainable Development Goals & Green Building Index (GBI) dan dijangka siap serta dibuka untuk jualan pada 2026.
German Technology Park ini juga memberi tumpuan kepada pembangunan R&D, jentera dan peralatan, elektrik dan elektronik, serta ICT.

GERMAN TECHNOLOGY PARK MELAKA OFFERS 10,000 JOB OPPORTUNITIES
KUALA LUMPUR, 22 March – The development of the German Technology Park (GTP) in Melaka is expected to create 10,000 job opportunities for the local population.
Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf Yusoh said the State Government is confident that the GTP development model will position Melaka as an attractive investment destination for high-tech companies from Germany.
He stated that the establishment of GTP will also boost high-impact economic development in Melaka through industrial growth, technology transfer, and the expansion of skilled local labour.
“I am highly confident that GTP will help elevate the high-impact industrial sector in the State of Melaka, while also improving the quality of Melaka’s skilled workforce through technology transfer.
“To support this, the government will fully leverage Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) as a technology-based educational institution to produce skilled local workers,” he said.
He made these remarks during the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between MCORP and MIDA, along with eight landowners for the development of GTP, held at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur today.
Also present were the German Ambassador to Malaysia, Dr. Peter Blomeyer; State Secretary Datuk Wira Zaidi Johari; Deputy Minister of Defence Adly Zahari; Deputy State EXCO for Investment, Industry, and TVET Development Datuk Khaidhirah Abu Zahar; other EXCO and Deputy EXCO members, department heads, and other dignitaries.
The eight companies involved in the MoU were:

PKNM DIKENALI SEBAGAI MCORP
SERI NEGERI 26 Julai – Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Melaka, hari ini, bersetuju meluluskan Rang Undang-Undang Enakmen Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Melaka (Pindaan) 2022.
Terdahulu, Rang Undang-Undang yang dibentangkan Ketua Menteri Datuk Seri Utama Sulaiman Md Ali itu dibahas empat Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN).
Ia diluluskan selepas 19 ADUN menyokong, tujuh tidak menyokong dan dua tidak hadir.
Sulaiman dalam pembentangannya berkata, sebanyak lapan fasal enakmen dicadangkan untuk dipinda.
Katanya, ia termasuklah meminda perkataan Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Melaka kepada Perbadanan Melaka (Melaka Corporation) atau nama komersialnya MCORP.
Selain itu, turut dipinda ialah perkataan Gabenor dan Yang Di-Pertua Negeri dalam mesyuarat kepada Pihak Berkuasa Negeri dan perkataan Pengurus Besar kepada Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif.
Pada masa sama, pindaan itu juga membabitkan penambahan tugas-tugas dan kuasa-kuasa PKNM dengan menambah aktiviti yang boleh dilaksanakan termasuk tetapi tidak terhad kepada maritim dan perkapalan, minyak dan gas, tenaga, penyelidikan dan pembangunan serta teknologi maklumat di bawah pelaksanaan tugas-tugas dan kuasa Perbadanan.
“Saya percaya bahawa projek-projek pembangunan yang akan dilaksanakan oleh PKNMakan meliputi seluruh kawasan di negeri Melaka.
“Saya juga percaya bahawa pembangunan yang akan dilaksanakan oleh PKNM akan menggandakan peluang pekerja bagi penduduk tempatan selain meningkatkan ekonomi negeri Melaka selari dengan Pelan Strategik Melakaku Maju Jaya 2035 (PSMJ2035) di bawah Flagship kedua, iaitu Melaka Negeri Usahawan (Pembangunan Perindustrian dan PKS),” katanya dalam ucapan penggulungan perbahasan.

PKNM IS KNOWN AS MCORP
SERI NEGERI, 26 July – The Melaka State Legislative Assembly (DUN) today approved the Melaka State Development Corporation (Amendment) Enactment Bill 2022.
Earlier, the Bill, tabled by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Utama Sulaiman Md Ali, was debated by four Members of the State Legislative Assembly (ADUN).
It was passed with 19 ADUNs voting in favour, seven opposing, and two absent.
In his presentation, Sulaiman stated that eight clauses of the enactment were proposed for amendment.
This includes changing the name “Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Melaka” (PKNM) to “Perbadanan Melaka” (Melaka Corporation), with the commercial name “MCORP”.
Additionally, terms such as “Governor” and “Yang di-Pertua Negeri” in meetings were amended to “State Authority”, and “General Manager” was changed to “Chief Executive Officer”.
At the same time, the amendments also involve the expansion of PKNM’s duties and powers by including activities that can be undertaken—such as, but not limited to, maritime and shipping, oil and gas, energy, research and development, and information technology—under the implementation of the Corporation’s roles and powers.
“I believe that the development projects to be carried out by PKNM will cover all areas across the state of Melaka.
“I also believe that these developments will multiply employment opportunities for the local population and boost the state’s economy in line with the Melakaku Maju Jaya 2035 (PSMJ2035) Strategic Plan under the second flagship initiative: Melaka as an Entrepreneurial State (Industrial and SME Development),” he said during his winding-up speech of the debate.

31 Ogos 2023, BANDA HILIR – Telah berlangsungnya Perbarisan Kontinjen Perbadanan Melaka (MCORP) sempena Perbarisan Hari Kebangsaan Ke-66 Peringkat Negeri Melaka yang diadakan bertempat di Memorial Pengisytiharaan Kemerdekaan, Banda Hilir, Melaka.
Seramai 50 orang perbarisan yang terdiri daripada warga kerja MCORP telah mengambil bahagian dalam Perbarisan Kemerdekaan tersebut.

PERHIMPUNAN BULANAN BAGI BULAN OGOS 2023 DAN MAJLIS PELANCARAN EKSA MCORP

Antara amanat yang disampaikan adalah menyentuh mengenai strategi yang perlu dilaksanakan oleh MCORP dan Kumpulan Syarikat untuk kekal berdaya maju dan bergerak sebagai satu pasukan bersama MCORP.
