DUA MOU PEMBANGUNAN GERMAN TECHNOLOGY PARK

KUALA LUMPUR 22 Mac – Kerajaan Negeri menerusi Perbadanan Melaka (MCORP) menandatangani dua memorandum untuk pembangunan German Technology Park (GTP) Melaka dalam majlis berlangsung di sebuah hotel, hari ini.

MoU antara MCORP dan Lembaga Pembangunan Pelaburan Malaysia (MIDA) adalah bagi tujuan pemasaran, mempromosikan GTP dalam misi perdagangan dan pelaburan MIDA khususnya kepada pelabur berkaitan Jerman di Malaysia serta antarabangsa.

Sementara itu satu lagi MoU adalah antara MCORP bersama lapan pemilik tanah untuk pembangunan GTP di sebuah kawasan perindustrian baharu seluas 341.18 ekar (138.07 hektar) bakal dimajukan di Bandar Hijau, Hang Tuah Jaya, Ayer Keroh.

Pembangunan projek kini berada pada fasa awal iaitu perancangan model perniagaan antara MCORP bersama lapan pemilik tanah yang juga rakan strategik pembangunan GTP.

Pembangunan infrastruktur GTP yang bakal menerapkan unsur Environmantal, Social & Governance (ESG), Sustainable Development Goals and Green Building Index (GB1) itu dijangka siap dan dibuka untuk jualan pada 2026.

MoU terbabit disaksikan oleh Ketua Menteri Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf Yusoh dan Duta Besar Jerman Ke Malaysia, Dr. Peter Blomeyer.
Hadir sama, Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri, Datuk Wira Zaidi Johari; Timbalan Exco Pelaburan, Perindustrian dan Pembangunan TVET negeri, Datuk Khaidhirah Abu Zahar; Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif MIDA, Datuk Wira Arham Abdul dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif MCORP, Datuk Mohd Yusof Abu Bakar.

Turut hadir, barisan kepimpinan Kerajaan Negeri, Ketua-ketua jabatan serta kenamaan lain.

TWO MoUs FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF GERMAN TECHNOLOGY PARK

KUALA LUMPUR, 22 March – The State Government, through Perbadanan Melaka (MCORP), signed two memorandums for the development of the German Technology Park (GTP) Melaka during a ceremony held at a hotel today.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between MCORP and the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) aims to market and promote GTP through MIDA’s trade and investment missions, particularly to German-related investors in Malaysia and internationally.

Meanwhile, another MoU was signed between MCORP and eight landowners for the development of GTP on a new industrial area covering 341.18 acres (138.07 hectares), which will be developed in Bandar Hijau, Hang Tuah Jaya, Ayer Keroh.

The project is currently in its early phase, focusing on the business model planning between MCORP and the eight landowners, who are also strategic partners in the development of GTP.

The GTP infrastructure development, which will incorporate elements of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG), Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the Green Building Index (GBI), is expected to be completed and open for sale by 2026.

The MoUs were witnessed by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf Yusoh and the German Ambassador to Malaysia, Dr. Peter Blomeyer.

Also present were the State Secretary, Datuk Wira Zaidi Johari; Deputy State Executive Councillor for Investment, Industry, and TVET Development, Datuk Khaidhirah Abu Zahar; MIDA Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Wira Arham Abdul; and MCORP Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Mohd Yusof Abu Bakar.

The event was also attended by other state government leaders, department heads, and distinguished guests.
